Suspect Arrested After Shots Fired Near Rock 'N' Roll McDonald's

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Charges are pending against a person who fired a gun into the air during an argument early Saturday outside the Rock 'n' Roll McDonald's in River North, according to Chicago Police.

Two groups of people from two separate party buses were arguing about 1:30 a.m. outside the restaurant at 600 N. Clark when a male pulled out a handgun and fired into the air, police said.

No one was injured in the shooting, police said. The male was taken into custody and investigators recovered a weapon.

Charges against the shooter were pending Saturday morning, according to police.
