Super Bowl About More Than Football For Local Restaurants

(CBS) -- What is the Super Bowl without the food? Sunday means big business for restaurants, and there's nothing bigger than the tiny chicken wing.

CBS 2's Brad Edwards found an Evanston hot spot in high gear for game time.

At Buffalo Joe's, it's the quiet before the Super Bowl. They do wings.

Paul Prudden is the son of the founder of Buffalo Joe's, with three locations. The story behind the name is simple.

"My dad's name is from Joe and he's from Buffalo," Prudden said. "Simple enough."

Prudden says the wings aren't breaded and they use smaller wings, which he says are better quality. Their philosophy is simple.

"The KISS philosophy: keep it simple…" he said.

They get so many orders, pre-orders need to be cut off.

"There will be a cut-off and it's probably going to be tomorrow," Prudden said.
