Summer Weather, Finally, Settles Into Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Those lazy, hazy days of summer that seemed elusive for weeks, are here and likely to say around for a while.

After a cool and soggy start to the season, warm temperatures, along with less rain, are expected all week.

For most of the week, temperatures will flirt with 90 degrees, at least away for the lake.

While there is a chance of some rain on Tuesday evening/Wednesday morning, most of the week will be free of precipitation.

By the weekend, temperatures will fall back into the lower 80s.
