Band members could see police in the balcony area while they were performing and when they were forced to stop the show, most were not aware that a 24-year-old man had fallen from a catwalk where he wasn't supposed to be and became impaled on something metal.

The victim is identified as Kyle Kirchoff of Hanover Park.

Police are conducting a death investigation. At this point, there is no suggestion of foul play.
