Stretch of warmer weather kicks off this weekend in Chicago

Warmer temperatures throughout next week for Chicago, with a couple chances for rain

Temperatures will be much warmer across the Chicago area over the next few days.

Highs on Saturday topped out in the lower 30s, but Sunday highs will reach the lower 40s. Any snow that we have outside still will melt away, but the areas that still have the light snowpack will remain a little cooler Sunday, with highs in the upper 30s.

High temperatures will stay in the 40s for highs for much of the week, with some opportunities for rain shower activity.

Monday night into Tuesday morning we will be tracking spotty showers, nothing robust.

However, Wednesday rain is likely. Scattered rain could create up to a half of inch of rainfall.
