9-Mile 'Street Love' Bike Ride Through North Lawndale

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Saturday night 1,000 bicyclists are riding together through North Lawndale to show some "street love."

It's part of a massive bike ride being held by the group Boxing Out Negativity.

Starting at 8 p.m. the group will ride out from Saint Agatha Catholic Church to cover nine miles in two hours.

The group says everyone is welcome to join, but please wear a mask and remember to social distance.

A cookout will kick off the fun for North Lawndale neighbors at 5 p.m.
