Stay Off Ogden Dunes Beach, Police Warn

OGDEN DUNES, Ind. (CBS) -- Police issued a warning Thursday for visitors to the lakefront in Northwest Indiana.

Police said people need to stay off Ogden Dunes Beach.

Access ways are closed because of erosion.

Rising lake levels in Lake Michigan are washing away parts of the shoreline, creating hazardous conditions.

Police have warned Ogden Dunes visitors not to go past the caution tape and barriers.
