No Evidence Of Shooting After Report Of Shots Fired On Edens Expressway

CHICAGO (STMW) -- The Touhy Avenue exit ramp on the northbound Edens Expressway was reopened Monday morning, after Illinois State Police found no evidence to confirm an earlier report of shots fired on the expressway near Lincolnwood.

Troopers received a report of shots fired shortly after 7 a.m., and shut down the northbound Touhy exit ramp to search for shell casings.

Police later said no evidence of a shooting was found, and the ramp was reopened around 9 a.m.
