St. Charles Public Meeting To Discuss Pot Sales

CHICAGO (CBS) --  With the legalization of recreational marijuana coming to Illinois in January, suburban St. Charles is asking its people if the sale of pot should be allowed within the city limits.

The upcoming state law allows local governments to decide for themselves about whether to allow cannabis stores to set up shop.

A public meeting will be held Monday night at 7:00 in the city council chambers to discuss the matter, and to gather public feedback.
