Some Suburbs Also Holding Elections On Tuesday

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Voters in a handful of Chicago suburbs also go to the polls Tuesday.

In southwest suburban Homer Glen, five candidates are running for village president, five candidates are running for village clerk, and 13 candidates are running for three trustee seats. All 23 candidates are write-in candidates.

In south suburban Dolton's primary elections, eight Democrats are vying for three trustee positions.

Five Action Party candidates are running for three trustee spots in Morton Grove. An independent candidate will join the top three Action Party candidates for a general election in April.

Waukegan has an election for three City Council seats.

Aurora also is holding an aldermanic election.

Campton Hills in Kane County also is holding a primary election for village president, village clerk, and three trustee positions.
