Social-Media Post Threatens Chicago Police
(CBS) -- Chicago police confirm they are investigating a social media posting that threatens officers.
The post threatens violence against officers at police district stations and while on patrol.
Chicago police tell CBS 2 they are aware of the post and are investigating the credibility of the threat.
The threat comes as police are encountering groups of protesters across the city following the release of a video showing the October 2014 shooting death of a black teen at the hands of a white officer. The officer has been charged with first-degree murder.
