Snowfall Totaling 1 to 4 Inches For Chicago Area On Sunday

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A storm sweeping through Chicago on Sunday is expected to leave one to four inches of snow locally, with heavier amounts farther west of the metro area.

In the city and suburbs, the snow is expected to more moderate, while up to six inches could fall in areas west of Belvidere.

A winter weather advisory is in effect until 6 p.m.

Fans can expect snowfall during today's Bears-49ers game at Solider Field.

Light snow began to fall around 10 a.m. in the Loop.

The snow will be gone by evening, but looking for the coldest temperatures of the season later in the week, around Wednesday or Thursday.
