First Alert Weather: Snow, rain with possible storms to the south

CHICAGO (CBS) -- We'll see the chance for snow and rain showers around our area Sunday with no accumulation expected.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 5:45 p.m. for Cook and Will counties and for Lake County, Indiana, until 6 p.m.

Just before 4 p.m. half dollar-sized hail was reported in Shorewood and quarter-sized hail was reported in Plainfield. Pea-sized hail was also reported near Lemont.

We can expect rain and a low threat of severe weather south of I-80. High temperatures struggle to make it into the 40s at O'Hare.
