Sneak Peek: The Blackhawks' Latest Stanley Cup Banner

CHICAGO (CBS) -- When the Blackhawks raise another Stanley Cup banner tonight at the United Center, fans should understand that the work was done here on the South Side.

Carl "Gus" Porter III, vice president/CEO of WGN Flag & Decorating Co., has been busy all summer designing and creating the 2014-15 version.

The company, located near 79th and South Chicago Avenue, has been in business since 1916 and has created all five banners that currently fly at the United Center.

"We've produced all of the banners for the Blackhawks, and we've all been honored to work on this one starting the day they won the Cup," Porter said in an email.
