Smash-And-Grab Burglars Steal Clothing From Lincoln Park Store

(STMW) -- Thieves made off with several items of clothing in a smash-and-grab burglary at a Moosejaw store in the Lincoln Park neighborhood Christmas morning on the North Side.

Officers responding about 6 a.m. Friday found that burglars had broken a storefront window of the retail store in the 1900 block of North Clybourn Avenue, according to Chicago Police.

Several items of clothing had been stolen, police said. The value of the stolen merchandise wasn't immediately known.

Investigators were trying to determine whether the burglary was captured on surveillance video.
