Small, But Passionate Group Of Students Demands Meeting With CPS Chief

(CBS) -- Chicago public school students think CPS CEO Forest Claypool should meet with them, before slashing the budget even further.  WBBM's Michele Fiore reports.

Only ten students showed up for a protest of CPS budget cuts, including Jasmine Curtis, a student from Englewood.

What students outside the Thompson Center said they hope to get, is a meeting with CPS CEO Forrest Claypool, because they say they have sound ideas on how to help.

The school board is set to vote on a new budget Feb. 22.
