Two Killed In Bridgeview Crash

(CBS) - An elderly man and woman died, and at least four other people were injured, after a two-car crash in Bridgeview Sunday afternoon.

A gray minivan and a tan Lincoln Towncar collided around 3 p.m. Sunday in the 9700 block of South Harlem Avenue.

Heavy equipment had to be brought out to extricate people from the vehicles.

An 80-year-old man and an 85-year-old woman were pronounced dead after the crash. The man was identified as Francis J. Iglinski, of the 4500 block of South Wallace Street in Chicago. The woman's name was not yet available Monday morning.

Police and fire officials said six people were hospitalized after the crash, but it was not immediately clear if the two who died were among those taken to hospitals.

The crash is under investigation.
