Shots Fired On Eisenhower On West Side

(STMW) -- Two lanes of the inbound Eisenhower Expressway were closed early Sunday after a shooting was reported.

Shots were fired in the inbound lanes of the Eisenhower (I-290) at Independence Boulevard about 2:30 a.m., according to Illinois State Police. No one was injured.

State police did not have additional details Sunday morning.

The two inbound lanes of the expressway remained closed until 7:30 a.m.
