CHICAGO (CBS)-- Shots were fired on the Dan Ryan Expressway overnight.

The shooting took place in the southbound lanes at 83rd Street just after midnight.

No one was injured, but there was a vehicle involved. Illinois State Police have not confirmed details of the incident at this time.

All lanes are back open.
