Shots Fired From Crowd As Police Break Up Gathering In Gresham

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Shots were fired while police tried to break up a crowd in the Gresham neighborhood.

Police responded to a large crowed gathering in the street near 70th and South Lowe around 10 p.m. Sunday. Police said they officers chased down one man who was holding a gun and someone else fired shots into the air.

Two men with guns were arrested along with three other people for disorderly conduct.

Two officers were injured and their conditions are unknown at this time.
