No injuries reported after shots fired at CTA bus

Shots were fired at a CTA bus on Chicago's West Side early Wednesday morning.

Video from the scene shows bullet holes in the front window and bike rack of the bus parked at Pulaski and Peterson avenues where the No. 53 Pulaski route ends. But this was not where the shots were fired.

Chicago police said the bus driver told officers he saw someone shoot at the bus while driving a black sport-utility vehicle miles south in the 500 Block of South Pulaski Road in the West Garfield Park neighborhood around 12:45 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

Grand Central Area detectives are investigating.
