Man Dies After Shooting Outside Schaumburg Walgreens

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 37-year-old man has died, hours after he was shot outside the Walgreens in northwest suburban Schaumburg.

According to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office, Quentin Tillison, of Maywood, was pronounced dead at 2:41 a.m. Tuesday at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

Police said Tillison was shot in the chest around 5:20 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of the Walgreens at 1180 S. Roselle Rd. in Schaumburg.

Tillison ran onto Roselle Road after he was shot, and collapsed in the street.

Police said they believe Tillison and his killer knew each other, and they do not believe the public is in danger.

No one was in custody Tuesday morning.
