Shooting Leaves Man Critically Wounded In Bronzeville

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot and critically wounded in Bronzeville Monday night.

The shooting happened at 7:40 p.m. in the 4400 block of South Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, police said.

A 38-year-old man was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to his chest and left leg, police said.

The man was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

Area One detectives were investigating.
