'Shady Bandit' Robs Latest Chicago Bank

(CBS) – A female bank robber known as the "Shady Bandit" has struck again.

The bank-robbery suspect, known for wearing dark sunglasses, made a verbal demand and fled with money from the TCF Bank branch at 5516 N. Clark Street on Thursday afternoon, the FBI said.

The Shady Bandit is believed to be responsible for at least five robberies on the North Side since last April.

Thursday's robbery occurred at 2 p.m.  The suspect wore sunglasses,  a black parka with a fur-lined hood, a black and white patterned knit cap and black gloves, the FBI said.

No one was injured.
