Chicago police say report of Lakeview sexual assault unfounded
Chicago police say a reported sexual assault in Lakeview on Sunday is not bona fide.
Chicago police initially said a 26-year-old woman reported sitting in an alley in the 3800 block of North Wilton Avenue when a group of two men and two women approached her.
The woman told police she was assaulted, and police said she was taken to Thorek Memorial Hospital.
Later on Monday, police said after an investigation, they determined the report was unfounded.
