Reports of multiple people hurt in crash in Chicago's Marquette Park

A crash left one person dead and three others injured in Marquette Park on Chicago's Southwest Side early Monday.

The crash happened in the early-morning hours Monday on Mann Drive, a road within the park, near Kedzie Avenue.

A was seen mangled and rolled over against a tree. Chicago Fire Department crews had to remove the roof and extract the severely injured people inside.

Chicago fire officials said one person from the car died at the scene. Another was taken to the hospital in serious-to-critical condition, and two more were taken to the hospital in fair-to-serious condition.

There were also reports that a child was among the injured and was taken to the University of Chicago's Comer Children's Hospital.
