Lanes Reopened After Crash On I-80 In Mokena

(STMW) -- All lanes on Interstate 80 were reopened Sunday afternoon after an earlier crash involving a semi truck Sunday morning in southwest suburban Mokena.

The truck crashed with a Jeep Cherokee on eastbound I-80 lanes just east of Interstate 355, Illinois State Police said in a statement issued about 11:30 a.m. A sergeant could not say what time the crash happened.

Two people were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the sergeant said.

Lanes on I-80 were reopened by 12:45 p.m., State Police said.
