Schaumburg renames post office in honor of war veterans
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Veterans in Schaumburg are getting a special honor.
The Schaumburg post office will now be named the Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan Memorial Post Office Building. It's honoring those who served in our most recent conflicts in the Middle East.
Today in Schaumburg, we renamed the post office at 450 W Schaumburg Rd the Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan Memorial Post Office, our nation's first to honor the veterans of our most recent conflicts.
