Scaffolding Collapse Injures 1, Damages 4 Cars

CHICAGO (STMW) -- One person was injured when scaffolding collapsed on four cars Friday night in Lincoln Park.

Scaffolding fell around 8:20 p.m. from the west side of an apartment building in the 2700 block of North Lakewood Avenue, damaging three parked cars and one more passing vehicle, police News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic said.

The male driver of the passing vehicle suffered minor lacerations on his hand, Sedevic said. No other injuries were reported.
