Russell Wilson Still Set On Attending Rangers' Spring Training

(CBS) Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson -- he of the dual-sport talents -- still wants to attend the Texas Rangers' spring training, Fox Sports 1's Jon Morosi reported Monday.

The Rangers selected Wilson in December's Rule 5 draft and said they'd like him to attend spring training during football's offseason -- presumably for motivational purposes -- and he reciprocated interest. Despite Wilson's universe revolving around football after helping lead the Seahawks to a Super Bowl win Sunday night, it seems as if he's still intent on making an appearance on the diamond.

Wilson played baseball  and football in college at N.C. State and was selected in the fourth round of the 2010 first-year player draft by the Rockies.
