Driver Slams Into Apartment Building In Round Lake

ROUND LAKE, Ill. (CBS) -- A driver lost control and smashed into an apartment complex in far north suburban Round Lake on Saturday evening.

The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. at the complex near Clear Water Circle and Long Lake Drive.

The two people in the car were rushed to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville in serious condition, authorities said.

Officials have not said what led to the crash.
