Man Killed In Roseland Shooting

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 25-year-old man was shot and killed Thursday afternoon in the Roseland neighborhood.

Officials said 25-year-old Lorreese Smith was shot in the chest and back around 2:30 p.m. near 112th and King.

Smith was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he later was pronounced dead.

No one was in custody Friday morning. Area South detectives were investigating.
