Rollover crash closes I-57 ramp in south Chicago suburb
A rollover crash involving a semi-truck shut down a southbound ramp on I-57 on Friday morning.
According to Illinois State Police, a semi-truck rolled carrying cement over on the southbound I-57 ramp to I-294 in Markham, Illinois around 5:45 a.m.
ISP said the driver was taken to a local hospital.
Police said the ramp will remain closed for an "extended period of time."
