Rifle Stolen From Police Squad Car In Portage Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago police were searching for a rifle stolen from a squad car as officers were responding to a call in the Portage Park neighborhood Friday morning.
Around 5:15 a.m., police responded to a call at Community First Medical Center, 5645 W. Addison St. While the officers were inside the hospital, someone broke into their squad car, and stole a department-issued rifle.
Further details were not available, and no one was in custody Friday afternoon.
