Restaurants Targeted In Lawndale Burglaries

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two restaurants were reported burglarized in November on Western Avenue in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

In both cases, the burglars broke the front glass doors of the businesses, which were located in the 1000 block of South Western Avenue, Chicago Police. Money was stolen from their cash registers.

The first burglary occurred between 11 p.m. and 9 a.m. Nov. 10-11 and the second was reported between 9 p.m. and 8:30 a.m Nov. 25-26, police said. A description of the offenders was not available.
