Reports: Marquette Hires Duke Assistant Wojciechowski

(CBS) Marquette has hired Duke assistant Steve Wojciechowski as its new basketball coach, according to multiple reports.

The 37-year-old Wojciechowski has worked under Mike Krzyzewski since 1999 and has been the Blue Devils associate head coach since 2008. He got the job after Tennessee coach Cuonzo Martin pulled himself out of consideration on Monday.

Wojciechowski is the latest in a long line of Krzyzewski assistants to land a head coaching job. The most recent one before him was Chris Collins, who in his recently completed first season at Northwestern led the Wildcats to a 14-19 record.
