Report: Mike Ditka Off Of ESPN's 'Sunday NFL Countdown'

(CBS) Hall of Famer and former Bears coach Mike Ditka has been removed from his analyst role on ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown," The Big Lead reported. He'll be replaced by Matt Hasselbeck, who's ending his playing career after being a backup quarterback for the Colts for the past several years.

Ditka will still remain at ESPN, joining other studio shows by remote, as the move was spurred by his desire to travel less, the Chicago Tribune reported.
