Report: Bears To Promote Mark Sadowski To College Scouting Director

(CBS) The Bears wasted no time in filling an important front office vacancy.

Chicago will promote Mark Sadowski to be its college scouting director after losing Joe Douglas to the Philadelphia Eagles over the weekend, the Chicago Sun-Times' Adam Jahns reported. Sadowski most recently has served as the Bears' senior national scout, and he has been with the organization since 2005. He was an area scout for Chicago previously as well and has scouting experience dating back to 1998 with the New Orleans Saints, where he worked until joining Chicago in 2005.
