Report: Bears Are Working Out OL Jake Long

(CBS) The Bears are working out offensive tackle and former No. 1 pick Jake Long on Thursday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.

The 31-year-old Long is a four-time Pro Bowler who was selected first overall in the 2008 draft by the Dolphins. He most recently played for the Falcons, appearing in four games in 2015 but not starting any contests. He's dealt with injuries in recent seasons.

The Bears are searching for more offensive line depth after cutting tackle Tayo Fabuluje on Wednesday. Fabuluje was the teams' sixth-round pick in 2015.

Charles Leno is currently projected to start at left tackle for the Bears, while offseason signee Bobby Massie is slotted at right tackle.
