Red Stars Lose To Portland As They Kick Off Season

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (CBS) -- The Chicago Red Stars kicked off their season Thursday at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview.

There were no fans in the stands – just some family members.

The Red Stars took on the Portland Thorns. They played to a scoreless tie until the 65th minute, when Megan Weaver scored for Portland.

The final score was 1-0.
