Red Stars Beat Kansas City In Home Finale

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (CBS) -- Saturday night marked the home finale for the Chicago Red Stars as they fought for a playoff berth.

In the first half, the Red Stars got on the board after an own goal from Kansas City defender Kristen Edmonds off the deflection.

Early in the second half, Mallory Pugh found Makenzy Doniak for the Red Stars' game-winning goal.

The Red Stars won 2-1.
