Rauner's Inaugural Concert Lineup: Blues Legend Buddy Guy, Country Artist Toby Keith

(CBS) -- A Chicago Blues legend and a country-music star known for songs about drinking will perform next month when Illinois's new governor is sworn in.

Buddy Guy--famous for his eponymous blues venue in Chicago--will open Jan. 12 for Nashville mainstay Toby Keith during the inaugural concert honoring Gov-elect Bruce Rauner. Keith's niche is singing songs with a drinking theme, including an ode to the "Red Solo Cup" that holds keg-dispensed beer, "Whiskey Girl," "I Love This Bar," and "I Like Girls Who Drink Beer." Keith, who has sold tens of millions of records, has recorded more traditional fare, too, including the songs, "As Good As I Once Was" and "How Do You Like Me Now?"

That isn't all. A music group comprised of state legislators, Boat Drink Caucus, will be the warm-up act, Rauner, a Republican from the North Shore, said in a statement to publicize the event.

Tickets for the show at the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield are $125 each and include food and drink, according to a website selling the tickets in advance.
