Rasheed Martin Denied Bail In Murder Of Seven-Year-Old Amari Brown

(CBS) -- A judge has denied bail to Rasheed Martin charged with first degree murder in the death of seven-year-old Amari Brown on July 4.

Martin, 20, was arrested in northern Wisconsin and extradited to Cook County.

WBBM's Steve Miller reports Martin's hair was dyed a light shade of orange and he wore cargo shorts as he stood before the judge.

Amari Brown was hit in the chest and died. His mother and father were both in bond court to see bond denied to Martin.
