Skokie Sister Posts "My Brother Needs a Prom Date" Ad on Craigslist
CHICAGO (CBS) — Talk about sisterly love. Charielle McMullan of Skokie posted a Craigslist ad this morning to help her brother, Kenny, find a date for prom tonight.
"Last night my brother Kenny's prom date called and told him that she could not longer attend the prom due to a certain circumstance. He is devastated that he has to walk into his prom alone without a beautiful girl on his arm. As his sister, I believe that it is his duty that ensure that he's just as happy on his prom night as I was on mine."
McMulland says her brother is charming, humble, friendly, and a great athlete. "He faced a lot of challenges in high school," she told CBS2, but through it all he never quit. "He deserves to have a great night. It's a celebration for him."
