(STMW) – Police are asking for the public's help in finding a pregnant woman who has been missing for more than a month from her northwest Indiana home.

Merrillville resident Rochelle Stubblefield was eight months pregnant when she last was seen leaving Calumet College of St. Joseph in Whiting on Nov. 10, according to Gary Police Lt. Dawn Westerfield. Her due date was Dec. 15.

Stubblefield, 20, was wearing black jeans and a maroon sweatshirt with the college's name on it, Westerfield said.

The 5-foot-5, 135-pound black woman wears glasses and has pierced ears. Police said there has been no activity on her bank account or cell phone since she disappeared.

Homicide detectives are investigating the case.
