Possible Human Remains Found In South Side Building

(STMW) -- A Fuller Park building owner may have found human remains Monday morning in the South Side neighborhood.

The owner called police after he found some "unusual objects" in the building about 11:40 a.m. in the 200 block of West Root Street, according to Chicago Police. The objects may be human remains.

Detectives and the Cook County medical examiner's office are both responding. Additional details were not immediately available.
