Police Unveil Surveillance Picture Of Downtown Robber

(STMW) -- Police have released a surveillance photo of a man suspected of robbing two stores near downtown in the past week.

In each case, the armed man took money, inventory or an employee's personal property, Area Central detectives said in a business alert.

The first robbery happened about 12:30 a.m. Oct. 17 in the 500 block of West Lake in the West Loop neighborhood. The second happened about 4:15 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of South Clark in the Loop, according to the alert.
