Police: Two Men Wanted For Armed Robberies Of Delivery Drivers

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Police are looking for two men wanted for robbing delivery drivers at gunpoint in the Washington Heights neighborhood on the South Side.

The robberies occurred at 9 p.m. Sept. 28 in the 8900 block of South Carpenter Street and at 9:15 p.m. July 9 in the 9100 block of South Racine Avenue, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

In both incidents, the delivery drivers were confronted by two armed men, who demanded food and money. During the most recent robbery, one of the men shot into the car as the delivery driver left the scene, police said.

The first suspect is described as a 20-year-old, 5-foot-3, 145-pound black man wearing a black shirt, police said. The second suspect is described as a 20-year-old, 5-foot-9, 160-pound black man with short black hair.
