Police Swarm Neighborhood In West Suburb After Report Of Home Invasion

(CBS) -- A manhunt was underway Thursday morning in the western suburbs, after a violent home invasion in Indian Head Park.

Cook County Sheriff's police said a masked suspect entered a home at 19 Briarwood Ln around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, and used a knife on someone inside.

It was unclear how badly the victim was injured, how many people were at home at the time, or if anything was stolen in the attack.

No one was in custody early Thursday.

Police said they would provide an update on the incident later Thursday morning.
