Police Searching For Gary Man Charged With Threatening Firefighters With Shotgun

(STMW) -- A manhunt is under way for a northwest Indiana man charged with threatening two firefighters with a shotgun.

Jermaine Jackson, 21, of Gary, was charged with two counts of intimidation, criminal recklessness and pointing a firearm, all felonies, according to Gary Police Lt. Dawn Westerfield.

Jackson, of Gary, threatened two members of the Gary Fire Department with a shotgun on Nov. 3, according to police.

He is not in custody, and is considered armed and dangerous, police said.
